Did You Know, DeVore Instructors Are All Certified?

Microsoft has certified DeVore Technologies as a Gold Partner in Learning Solutions, reflecting our technical expertise and numerous Microsoft Certified employees. We are proud to assist our employees by providing funding for them to become certified and to maintain or update their skills.
  • Ginger has just achieved certification as a MS Certified Trainer.  She also holds the MS Office Specialist Master Certification in Office 2010 and 2003 as well as being certified in Quick Books.
  • Megan is an MS Certified Trainer and holds the MS Office Specialist Master Certification in Office 2010 and 2007 and is a CompTia Certified Technical Trainer.
  • Michele B. is an MS Office Expert 2003 and MS Office Specialist in 2010.
  • Troy is an  MS Certified Trainer, a CompTia Certified Technical Trainer, and is Certified in MS Project, Security Plus, Network+, and the Office 2010 Specialist.
  • Ted is an MS Office Master Certification in Office 2010 and Office 2010 Specialist.
  • Penny is an MS Office Specialist in Office 2010.
  • Christine is a Certified Instructor in Crystal Reports.

Training for Olympic Steel- Distance and Instructor-led Classes

We have been enjoying working with Olympic Steel to develop and implement learning strategies for the Office 2010 rollout.

Thus far Olympic Steel has had several Distance 2010 Orientation classes for students all over the country! In addition, many students have been taking classes here at DeVore such as Excel 2010 and OneNote.

Soon, we hope to roll out an asynchronous learning piece focusing on Outlook 2010.

Cavs Management Team Gives DeVore Technologies Royal Treatment

Last week Tuesday Feb 21st, the Cleveland Cavaliers Craig Frederick invited DeVore’s VP of Applications Craig Koteles and CEO Lori DeVore to the game, enjoying front floor seats and feeling the sweat and heat of the Detroit Pistons. DeVore Technologies would like to thank the Cavaliers management for their generous hospitality.

Highlight of the game: During the last two seconds of the game, Gibson made the winning points and broke the tie, leading the Cavs to another win 101 to 100.

Must-Have Free Apps to Increase Productivity

1. LogMeIn- Access your home computer’s content from your iPhone or iPad.

2. EasySign- Reduce the need for paper documents by simply using your finger (or a stylus) to sign all sorts of docs on your mobile device. Then send it securely & import to Dropbox or Box.net.

3. LucyPhone- If you get put on hold with customer service, just hang up and LucyPhone will call you back when the customer service rep comes back on the line.

4. Pocket- Store sensitive information like passwords, prescriptions, locker combinations on your mobile device with Pocket. The information is only accessible via a master password that cannot be accessed locally.
