Lori DeVore, working closely with Youth Opportunities Unlimited (Y.O.U.) for the fourth year in a row, is proud to announce an amazing Career Olympics 2012! The students from John Adams High School worked so diligently all year to prepare for the employment competition on April 26th, and all that hard work really paid off as it was one of the most successful years ever. Students were professional and dressed in formal attire, looking so chic that it was difficult to tell the difference between the judges and the participants!
Lori describes her passion for the Y.O.U. program:
“To see the students preparing for the real world makes it worth all the effort. This Y.O.U. program is not just fun and games; it prepares them for life. They start to feel the energy of competition, the challenge of working together as a team, and ultimately inspiring them to strive for lifelong success. I am sincerely proud of what the John Adams high school students and all participating students have accomplished this year.”
